The location of the hotel was great, nestled in the quiet and tranquil countryside. It was a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were amazing and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their friendly and accommodating nature made our stay much more enjoyable.
There were quite a few negative aspects to our stay. It made it quite difficult to have a proper shower, especially for someone used to a power shower.

I recently stayed at a beautifully decorated open plan cottage with a large enclosed garden at Jockhedge Holiday Cottages. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a stairgate for my 2-year-old. The cottage was well-equipped and had super comfy beds. The location was amazing, with a play area for the kids and two fishing lakes. The surrounding land was great for early morning dog walks. I had a fantastic time and I can't wait to return next year.
There were a few minor drawbacks, such as a heated towel rail that didn't work, resulting in wet towels. The shower had poor water pressure and a beam that required taller guests to duck.

The cottage I stayed in, called 'Dairy', was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The modern facilities and cozy atmosphere made it the perfect retreat for me and my family. We felt so safe and secure, especially with our toddler, as the staff provided everything we needed. The friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The big bed was incredibly comfortable, and we all had a great night's sleep. The surrounding area had plenty of amenities and shops, as well as beautiful gardens and a playpark that our son adored. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you for an amazing time!
The only minor drawback was the intermittent WiFi signal, but honestly, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as it allowed us to disconnect from our screens and truly enjoy each other's company. I would highly recommend this place for a fabulous vacation.

The location of the cottage was perfect for our romantic escape, with beautiful views over the water and fields. We loved the small touches provided by the staff, like the complimentary plum loaf, tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. the cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay, ensuring that we had a comfortable and enjoyable time.
One aspect that we didn't particularly enjoy was the poor WiFi connection. Despite trying multiple codes provided by the staff, none of them worked, and we ended up having to purchase a separate WiFi plan, which unfortunately had a weak signal and made it difficult to stay connected.
